Patriotic Popcorn Recipe

We’re proud to be Americans and what better way to show our patriotism than through white chocolate popcorn with a sprinkle of red and blue?  Our favorite lifestyle expert, Trish Suhr stopped by to share some delicious and stylish hacks.  Check out the recipe and be sure to impress your guests this 4th of July holiday!

Ingredients
  1. 8 Cups Popped Popcorn (you can use microwave popcorn, just not the buttery kind)*
  2. 1 Cup White Chocolate Morsels
  3. 2 teaspoons Coconut Oil
  4. 1/4 Cup Sprinkles
Instructions
  1. Place popped popcorn in large bowl. Set aside.  (Trish used Jolly/Time Crispy n’White popcorn.)
  2. Cover a rimmed baking sheet with foil. Set aside.
  3. Combine white chocolate and coconut oil in microwave safe bowl. Microwave 30 seconds then stir. Microwave 30 more seconds then stir until remaining lumps melt. Immediately drizzle over popcorn.
  4. Toss popcorn with wooden spoon or hands if cool enough until evenly coated with chocolate. Immediately spread evenly over prepared baking sheet.
  5. Top with sprinkles then transfer to refrigerator until chocolate sets. (5-10 minutes)
  6. Keep refrigerated until served.
